Ken Burns' The Dust Bowl premieres tomorrow, November 18th, at 7:00 pm on OETA. In his review for the New York Times, Mike Hale writes, "Mr. Burns has two aces up his sleeve in 'The Dust Bowl.' One is the copious supply of photographs and film of the dust storms themselves, awesome and apocalyptic images...The other is his cast of living witnesses, white-haired survivors who in the 1930s were children growing up in the Oklahoma panhandle or southern Kansas and Colorado." If you miss the premiere, we're adding the film to our collection. You can place a hold on the dvd here.
