Yes there is, and it’s called Library Elf. This service can be set up to send you notices regarding the due dates of your checked out items, as well as if you have any holds ready for pick. You can use Library Elf for a single library account, but you can also add multiple cards (those of your spouse and your kids, for example) to the same Elf account to keep track of everyone’s items in a single place.

Classes are generally divided up into several lessons, and include outside links to helpful websites, instructor feedback, and assignments and exams to put your newfound knowledge to the test.

To find information on flu, including symptoms, prevention and treatment, try the Medline Plus database. You can access it through the Research & Learn tab at the top the library homepage in the alphabetical Databaseslist. In the Medline Plus search field, enter the word ‘flu' and hit ‘search'. Click on the first result from the National Library of Medicine. This will bring up a new page with an overview of the disease and several headings.
