It used to be that when you went to a book repository you had to look up a book in a catalog or index, then go up to a librarian and make a request for him or her to retrieve it for you.
In 1965, the Tulsa City-County Library reformed our idea of what a library is, becoming one of the first in the nation to use today's standard of browsing books in an "Open Library."
Today, the library continues to serve all members of the community, serving as a gateway to resources for students, young and old, families, community groups, entrepreneurs and large businesses.
As our culture continues to evolve in the way we learn and gather as a community, this video unveils the concept design for Central Library that the architects of MS&R (Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle, Ltd., http://msrltd.com) and associate architect Crafton Tull Associates, Inc., created for reinvigorating Tulsa City-County Library for the next 50 years.

removing comments
Please re-evaluate your policy for removing comments. If someone reports it as abusive, do you automatically take it off? Just because I disagree with someone on something, does that mean my voice does not get heard? My comment had nothing inappropriate in it, nothing offensive, nothing that another person hadn't already said, only mine was more succinct. But maybe you took theirs off too? Is this Big Brother or what?? If everything always has to be positive positive positive, that is not real. Please, Tulsa Library, let's keep it real!!! Why would you remove someone's comment that had nothing out of line in it??? I probably didn't like their comment either, does that mean I reported it as abusive?? NO!!

this is America
Yes this is America, if no swear words or racial slurs were used, everyone's opinion should be heard! Not everyone can be Pollyanna, what kind of world would that be? Just because someone disagrees does not mean they should flag something as abusive. By removing comments that someone has tagged as abusive, without them actually BEING abusive comments, you are allowing misuse of this feature.
