Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing

Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing is available to our tutors and adult learners in all of our literacy computers labs. This well-loved typing program monitors progress to provide each user with tailored lessons.  Learning the basics of typing is an easy way to become more comfortable with using the computer. This program will be especially helpful to adult learners who will be taking the GED test its new online format in 2014. The Tulsa World Career Fair will be Thursday, Oct. 18!  We'll be presenting some great resources at the 1:30pm seminar, "Know Before You Go: Tools for Researching Potential Employers."

To help accommodate last minute registrations the Tulsa County Election Board will be open til midnight on October 12 accepting registrations. Registrations post marked by midnight October 12 will also be accepted. Need a voter registration card?
