Free Landfill Days this Weekend

The City of Tulsa will host its semi-annual free landfill day's event on Saturday, Oct. 19 and Sunday, Oct. 20 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Quarry Landfill located at 46th Street North approximately 1-1/2 miles east of U.S. 169.

They made a deal... in the wee hours of the night Congress passed and President Obama signed legislation funding the government and raised the debt limit. The legislation sent thousands of government employees back to work this morning and averted default of treasury accounts.

A few folks have already popped by to check out our new digs, and we want to encourage to all of our tutors, students, and various volunteers to stop by our new building now that we’re open! We have moved and our materials collection is all set up and ready to be browsed!
