The exterior book drops at Central Library's north entrance have been moved to Librarium at 11th & Denver Ave.

You can return books after-hours at Librarium beginning Saturday, Aug. 31.

You can pick up your holds at Librarium beginning Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Tulsa City Council Approves Capital Improvements Package

Last night, after much community involvement and feedback, the Tulsa City Council passed a $918.7 million bond package. The package, which will be included on the November 12 ballot, now awaits voter approval.

State of the City Featuring Mayor Bartlett, Thursday, Sept. 5

Tulsa Mayor Dewey F. Bartlett, Jr. will provide an update to the Tulsa regional business community at the Tulsa Regional Chamber's annual State of the City address at the Cox Business Center, Thursday, Sept. 5.

Bartlett, a local businessman, took office in 2009. Since he was elected, Bartlett has focused on job creation, public safety and infrastructure, all while maintaining a sound budget and building the city's savings.

Every late December or early January, I peruse my reading list from the year just ending or ended and pick my favorites. Here at the library, we even share our lists. It’s always one of the reading-related highlights of my year: both considering and choosing what stayed with me the most, and discovering what my colleagues considered and chose.

It’s not the end of the year yet (not even close), but if we can have Christmas in July, why not New Year’s in August?
