Yes, the library does offer a homebound delivery service and Books By Mail to those customers who are physically unable to travel to their library branch. This option is offered through our Outreach Services department. Customers who qualify for homebound delivery can request their own items, or have Outreach staff select materials based on their reading preferences.

Scott Spencer now ranks among my favorite authors. Although, it should be mentioned I haven’t completed a single novel of his. I’m working on it. I know this because of his material, what he chooses to mine for his stories. He explores the tension between passion and guilt, violence and fragility. He deals with obsession often resulting in a turning point within the story; an act after which nothing can return to the way things were. It’s not so subtle, it’s often dramatic, and it keeps you turning the page.

Yes, the library offers a directory database called Reference USA. This database can be used at all library locations and from home. To access this database from the library's homepage, go to Research & Learn, then click on the Alphabetical List of Databases, and you'll Reference USA under R.

You can learn more about Alan Furst and his career through the Biography in Context database. First click on the Research & Learn tab at the top of the library home page, then select Alphabetical List of Databases. Scroll down to the B's for Biography in Context. Perform a search for the name Furst, Alan and you should receive a list of results, the first of which will be a biography from Contemporary Authors Online.

Job Now! is a new addition to our database collection. It offers a number of resources for those looking for work, including a job search, resume templates, interview tips, and a learning center to help with skill building and test taking. The database also links to several employment related websites for further information. However, perhaps the handiest tool available through Job Now! is its live coaching feature.
