PAPER AIRPLANE CHALLENGE FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS SOARS INSIDE CENTRAL LIBRARY

Soar into the New Year with the “Paper Airplane Challenge,” Jan. 3, 1-2 p.m. at Central Library, Fourth Street and Denver Avenue.  All ages are welcome at this free family event.

Learn new designs, such as the Arrow, Dart, Hoop Glider and Whirlybird, or create your own aerodynamic marvel.  There will be books on the various designs to help with the precision folding.  At 1:45 p.m. participants can compete in the “Paper Airplane Air Show,” featuring a competition for distance and accuracy.  Both children and adults will have their own age categories for the competition.
