Tax Season is Here!

FEDERAL TAXES

Federal tax forms will be available at all Tulsa City-County Library locations.

NOTICE:  The IRS is unable to offer instructions for 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ to libraries and other organizations due to recent budget cuts.  

It’s time to file my taxes. Can the library help me?

While the library does not offer a tax preparation service, we do have some tools that can help you with the process of filing your taxes. A list of these resources can be found on our Tax Information page.

Free Tax Assistance

MyFreeTaxes is an online Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site that provides free online Federal tax filing for individuals or families with a combined income under $58,000 in 2013.

Can The Library Help Me File My Taxes?

Well, the short answer is no, the library does not assist with tax preparation or offer tax advice. However, we do have some resources that may make tax season a little more bearable for you.
