Find funders with Foundation Directory Online

Are you looking for funders for your nonprofit? The Nonprofit Resource Center offers free access to the Foundation Directory Online, a premier research tool for discovering grantmaking foundations and companies.

If you’re using FDO for the first time or looking to improve your research skills, there are several free online tutorials and webinars that can help.

FDO tour – Six short videos give an overview of the key features of FDO. 
Introduction to Finding Funders -  Learn how to create customized searches to develop lists of prospective foundation and corporate donors that will match your nonprofit organization's funding needs.

Text-based FDO search tutorial – This section contains sample searches to get you up to speed quickly.
Guided tour of FDO – This tour contains narrated guided tours of each FDO database. These tours can be used by new subscribers looking for an introduction to FDO's functionality or by veteran users in need of a refresher course.

FDO can be accessed at Hardesty Library from any public PC. To open the database, go to tulsalibrary.org and navigate to Research & Learn>Alphabetical List of Resources>Foundation Directory Online.
