I'd like to start a nonprofit organization, but don't know all of the steps involved. Where can I find help getting it up and running?

The library's Research Center has a wealth of information on starting and operating nonprofits. If you go to our Research & Learn tab on the home page, you'll find a link for the Nonprofit Resource Center in the middle of the list of icons.

This resource center can help you find tips and strategies for forming, marketing and managing your nonprofit. It also includes a section on finding and writing grants, statistics and other info on existing nonprofits, and a schedule of upcoming programs and workshops.
