The new A-F Oklahoma School Report Cards have been out awhile. The School Report Cards allow parents and students to gauge the success (or failure) of their school or potential schools. This is the first year the school report cards have been issued on an A-F scale and there has been some confusion about the scoring. The State Department of Education is providing guidance for reading the new cards through an FAQ. The State Superintendent is also encouraging parent participation in raising or maintaining a school's grade.
Tulsa Public Schools received several Fs and Ds and is offering mid-year transfers to students in low-performing schools. Transfers can be requested through the Tulsa Public Schools Transfer Office. Transfers are subject to space availability in tbe requested school.
