David Levithan is an author, editorial director at Scholastic, and founder of PUSH, an imprint that seeks and promotes new and original voices in teen literature. Levithan is most well known for his affirming, heartfelt, and quirky young adult novels like Boy Meets Boy .

If you think Oliver Stone has the conspiracy bug, take a moment and introduce yourself to some of the more creative and paranoid works major, award winning authors have written. Sure, most everyone is aware of The Da Vinci Code and Dan Brown’s unique brand of conspiratorial suspense, but he by no means is the only paranoid fiction writer. Below are some of the better novels that incorporate age old conspiracy theories.

Maybe it’s not all that uncommon. Perhaps, certain readers tend to be drawn to books that explore specific themes. Still, the serendipitous experience feels like you’ve enrolled in a college seminar, with readings selected to help you understand and reflect upon social and cultural issues.

I own a small business and need to do some market research, but we don't have the time or the staff to do it effectively ourselves. Can the library help me with this type of research?

Yes we can, with a service called Research Wizard. Research Wizard is a specialized fee-based service that can help companies with in-depth research needs, such as market research, industry analysis, information on competitors, and more. This service is part of the library's Research Center, and is located on the 4th floor of the Central Library.
