Veterans Day

Veterans Day is Sunday. First proclaimed by President Wilson in 1919 as Armistice Day, Veterans Day day is set aside to honor and thank the men and women who put themselves in harm's way for all Americans.

Tomorrow is election day across the country. In addition to President, Oklahomans are being asked to decide on state house and senate races, federal congressional seats, multiple state questions and, in Tulsa, 2 county-wide questions as well as seats in Tulsa City Council districts 1 and 7.

Lines for early voting, which is happening at the County Election board today until 6pm, have been long... so be prepared to wait. Polls will be open election day 7am-7pm.
