Saturday is National Day of Civic Hacking.

One Saturday, June 1 pioneering citizens across the United States will blaze new trails for social innovation in an event of unprecedented scope. Nearly one hundred teams across the country, supported by more than 20 government agencies, will come together with a common purpose: to invent new applications that leverage open, public data for the common good. This is the National Day of Civic Hacking. (from hackforchange.org)

Tulsa Indpendent School District Bond Initiative

  • Yes -- 67.4%
  • No -- 32.6%

Glenpoll Independent School District Bond Initiative

  • Yes -- 64.3%
  • No -- 35.7%

The Tulsa election is a $38,000,000 bond package to improve school technology and security. The Glenpool election is a  a $1,000,000 bond package for constructing, equipping, repairing and remodeling school buildings.
