Parking for Central Library
- Parking in the Central Library parking garage is available for library customers only. Courthouse parking is not allowed.
- Payment and procedures will be strictly enforced. Vehicles not using the garage for library parking will be towed at owner’s expense.
- Access to the Central Library parking garage is available from Fifth Street or Fourth Street shown on the map below. If one of the gates is closed, please enter or exit the garage from the other gate.
Payment Options
- Exit gates in the parking garage: Pay with a debit or credit card. Cash payments are no longer accepted at the exit gates in the parking garage.
- Walk-up kiosk inside Central Library: Pay with cash, debit or credit card. For cash payments, only $1, $5 and $10 bills are accepted (no coins).
- COMING SOON! Mobile pay: Scan the QR code on your parking ticket to pay from anywhere using mobile pay.
Once you make your parking payment, you have 15 minutes to exit the parking garage with your vehicle before new charges start accruing.
Parking Rates
- Parking is free for the first two (2) hours.
- The garage closes at 9 p.m. on Monday through Thursday; 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday. Overnight parking is not allowed and there is no access to the garage after hours.
