Center for the American Indian Family at the Maxwell Park Library has a growing American Indian collection including:

  • Non-fiction
  • Reference
  • American Indian language materials
  • Fiction by American Indian authors for all ages
  • Educational kits for elementary ages with a variety of cultural and language materials about specific tribes

The Center for the American Indian Family also features programming for American Indian families throughout the year:

  • Fall college series with information on financial aid for American Indian students
  • Demonstration workshops each spring that feature hands on workshops of traditional crafts
