The Reading Roadshow Service seeks to improve the school readiness of children from birth to age 6, serving as a welcoming gateway library experience for children and their caregivers. This mobile library service brings the library directly to underserved early childhood communities that are new to libraries, have shied away from libraries or don’t have easy access to a community library.
The Reading Roadshow visits preselected day care centers and other early childhood and family literacy programs in Tulsa County. It may also be reserved for community events with an emphasis on young children and their parents.
