Did you know that you can take free non-credit courses through Universal Class with your TCCL library card number? You can enroll in up to five courses, and you have six months to complete each course. You can take courses that focus on developing specific knowledge and skills, like accounting, history, medical coding, language arts, office skills, etc. You can also take courses to prepare for the GED!

Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing is available to our tutors and adult learners in all of our literacy computers labs. For a convenient, interesting, user-friendly online dictionary, try The Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English. You can type in a word and get clear, easy-to-understand definitions, variations on the word, and topic labels. You can click on topic labels to access the “Topic Dictionary.” Here, you will see a colorful list of words associated with a general topic.

Don't fret! A Dream That Walks, Setting Realistic Goals is offered a couple times each year. It is a fun class that adult learners and their tutors enjoy. If you missed the most recent workshop (Sat.
