Libraries are a resource for people of all ages to find information that can transform their lives. In countless communities across our nation children, students and adults turn to libraries to learn, grow and achieve their dreams.
Tulsa City-County Library celebrates National Library Week, April 9-15, the entire month of April by featuring “Bring Back the Books.” Customers can bring back all overdue, books, CDs, DVDs and other library materials and have overdue fines forgiven.
More than 16,000 customers returned overdue materials during the previous “Bring Back the Books” campaign in 2012. The goal of this initiative is to remove the barrier of overdue fines keeping customers from using library resources.
Tulsa City-County Library features more than 1.5-million books and resources for children, tweens, teens and adults. Customers also can enjoy Wi-Fi, computers, copiers, printers, fax service and business databases. Ask a librarian about meeting rooms, study areas and other gathering places for individuals, small groups and larger events for non-profits or small businesses. Library cards are free to anyone who lives, works or goes to school in Tulsa County.
