Take to the friendly skies during library program to learn about flight

   You have been cleared for takeoff and can soar into adventure during “Mad Science Guys: Fantasy of Flight” on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Hardesty Regional Library’s Connor’s Cove, 8316 E. 93rd St.

   Discover what it takes to fly with the Mad Science Guys and meet a real-life pilot and namesake for Connor’s Cove, Connor Clardy.

   Ages 5-12 will enjoy learning about the four principles of flight and see how pressure and gravity make it possible for us to leave the ground and soar the open skies.

   Future pilots are encouraged to experience flight in one of TCCL’s two flight simulator’s featured in Central Library’s AEP Digital Literacy Lab. Customers must be at least 12 years old to use the flight simulators. All you need to get started is to complete a brief orientation.
