Travels With Tulsans

Travels With Tulsans is one of the Friends of the Tulsa City-County Libraries' longest running programs. Presented by notable community members, this lunchtime travelogue series runs each January-February. Bring a brown bag lunch and settle in to learn more about these fascinating locales both near and far. Programs will also broadcast on the Zoom virtual meeting platform. Jan. 15 - On a Road in Africa with Kim Doner

Feb. 5 - Antarctica and New Zealand in the 1970s with Skip Whitehurst
Skip Whitehurst shares stories from his time at McMurdo Station, the Antarctic research station near the Ross Ice Shelf, and in Christchurch, New Zealand, during the 1970s. | EVENT DETAILS

Feb. 12 - Off the Beaten Path with Bill and Nancy Hermann

Feb. 19 - A Wintry Netherlands Weekend with Tara Farrar

Feb. 26 - Cruising Through Asia with Bob Caruso
Take a monthlong Holland America cruise with Bob Caruso, stopping in Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, South Korea and Japan. | EVENT DETAILS

March 5 - A Journey From Oklahoma to Ghana with Floretta Reed
Floretta Reed visited Ghana, Africa, to discover her ancestors' history and better understand her own. See the cities of Accra, Kumasi, Cape Coast and Elmina, and Kakum National Park. |
