We hold monthly meetings, open to the public, on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm January through November. Dates and times for other functions are scheduled individually.
Mission
The mission of Tulsa NightWriters Club is to provide a platform for writers of all levels and abilities to receive support, encouragement, and the tools to achieve their writing goals through a membership group open to all who wish to further their writing for publication, competition, or pleasure through informational and inspirational speakers, networking opportunities with writing and publishing professionals, and opportunities to achieve through local and state writing competitions and conferences.
Programs and Services
The Tulsa NightWriters Club holds an annual Craft of Writing Conference, open to the public, with renowned speakers and numerous sessions. In addition, workshops and social gatherings are scheduled from time to time. We conduct a 500-word Flash Writing Contest for members, publish anthologies written by Club members, and coordinate critique groups, usually by genre. We are an affiliate of the Oklahoma Writers Federation, Inc. (OWFI).
Members or visitors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all Club functions. Club meetings are open to visitors, as is the Craft of Writing Conference.
