Mission
The Tulsa County Bar Association is a valuable resource for both the legal profession as well as for members of the Tulsa community. From continuing legal education and support services, to our lawyer referral services, we’re dedicated to helping our members achieve their goals, and to promoting public awareness and keeping the legal system accessible to all.
Services and Programs
The Lawyer Referral Service's primary purpose is to refer those needing legal representation, and who can afford reasonable attorney’s fees, to a licensed attorney who practices in the area of law appropriate to their needs. In cases where a lawyer referral is not appropriate other resources may be recommended. We do not provide pro bono attorney's nor do we have attorney's on staff who can answer legal questions.
If you think you have a legal problem and are not currently represented by an attorney, this is a convenient way to get matched to the right lawyer. The referral fee is only $25 and includes up to a thirty minute over the phone initial legal consultation. It is not a guarantee that the attorney will represent you, that you have a legal case or that you have to hire the attorney. It is simply a consultation.
During your consultation you will learn what your rights are, what legal options are available to you and, if necessary, arrange for further legal work. The referral attorney will inform you up front of the potential costs involved.
Scholarships and Training Opportunities
We do not and can not give legal advice.
