Programs and Services
Tulsa Botanic Garden is located about 8 miles northwest of downtown Tulsa. The A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces was the first garden from the master plan to be built and opened in October 2015. This 3-acre garden includes ornamental plants on themed terraces with Art Deco-inspired planting designs and water features.
The Children's Discovery Garden, opened in 2016, is a 2-acre wonderland garden with the iconic "Spring Giant" 18' sculpture, spitting animal fountains, insect whirligigs and Tree Fort. Kids of all ages can paint on the Art Wall, play musical instruments, explore the Sensory Walk and discover carnivorous plants in the bog bowls. The Cross Timbers Nature Trail is a 1.5 mile walking trail winding through native prairie and Cross Timbers forest.
The Bumgarner Lotus Pool and Stanford Family Liberty Garden are expected to open mid 2023.
Educational programs, walks, demonstrations, or drop in activities for families are available throughout the year.
Tulsa Botanic Garden participates in the Museums for All program, providing discounted regular admission to recipients of SNAP or WIC benefits, with valid EBT card and photo ID.
