"To explore, enjoy and protect the wild places of the Earth; to practice and promote the responsible use of the Earth's ecosystems and resources; to educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment; and to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives."

Services and Programs

Through the efforts of numerous dedicated volunteers, the Green Country Sierra Club organizes frequent outdoor activities, social events, conservation activities, and educational outreach efforts aimed at furthering the mission of the Sierra Club. 

Some of our standing committees, integral to the success of this group, include the Conservation Committee, Outings, Political Committee, Programs,  and RF100 Committee.  From local environmental fairs and backpacking trips to film festivals and legislative lobbying, committee involvement offers opportunities to promote sustainability and environmental conservation with some of the most dedicated, kind-hearted folks in Oklahoma!
