Mission
To conserve, protect and restore North America’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds. To provide educational opportunities to the community and members about how to fish, protection and enhancement of fisheries, protection and improvement in water quality to enhance fishing opportunities, to promote conservation efforts and to teach good conservation practices to ensure a healthy fishery and ecosystem now and in the future.
Services and Programs
- Fly Fishing instruction
- National guest speakers on how, when and where to fish, stream entomology, fly tying instruction, fly fishing instruction
- Trout In the Classroom. Provide fish tanks, instruction and educational field trip release programs for middle school students who raise provided trout from eggs to release in Oklahoma streams
- Public and legislative educational programs related to fisheries conservation and good conservation stewardship
