An interview is a two-way conversation. While an interviewer is assessing if you are the right fit for their organization, you are also assessing whether the organization is a good fit for you. Some questions you may consider asking:

• How is success measured in this role?
• What is the top priority for this role in the next 6 months?
• What is the projected start date?
• What is the next step in this process?

Remember that asking questions easily answered by the organization’s website or posted job description will indicate that you did not prepare for the interview.
