Starting on May 28 (that's in less than a week!), babies, preschoolers, and children can register for the Summer Reading Program at any of the 24 locations - and the bookmobile - of the Tulsa City-County Library!
This program is simple:
This summer, between May 28 and August 3, when babies or children read (or, in the case of babies and young children, have read TO them)
8 books...
AND
Visit the library 4 times...
They complete the program and earn a medal and a book of coupons for local food and entertainment. (Tulsa State Fair admission... a decorated cookie from Merritt's Bakery... and more!) They will also be entered into winning an array of truly stunning grand prizes.
But that's not all!
If they read (or have read to them)
12 MORE books...
They earn a bonus prize!
This year, the prize for Birth to Pre-K participants is a plush toy of a cow jumping over the moon. For children, the prize is an inflatable space shuttle.
