Mission
The Arc of Oklahoma’s mission is to promote and protect the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and actively support their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. Our vision is for Oklahomans with IDD to be valued members of their communities, with the opportunity to realize their full potential and a future that is secure.

We represent and serve all ages and more than 100 different diagnoses including autism, Down syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, and various other developmental disabilities.
Family caregivers include, but are not limited to, parents (including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities themselves), adoptive parents, foster parents, siblings, uncles, aunts, cousins, grandparents, grandchildren, and individuals who are in spousal-equivalent relationships.
