Hours of Operation

Tulsa Modern Quilt Guild meets the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm.
Currently we meet at Jr. Achievement of Oklahoma, 3947 S. 103rd E. Ave

Mission

• Develop and encourage the art of modern quilting.
• Provide an atmosphere of fellowship for persons interested in the art and craft of quilt making.
• Work with other guilds and groups with a similar purpose.
• Encourage new quilters and other fiber artists interested in non-traditional and non-art fiber projects.
• Offer educational opportunities through classes, demonstrations, workshops, and sharing of information.
• Enlighten the public as to the substantial history of quilting as an art form as well as a continuing craft, and serve the community through charitable activities involving the use of modern quilting skills.

Programs and Services

Tulsa Sews is an initiative of the Tulsa Modern Quilt Guild to foster skill development necessary for learning the art of sewing. Tulsa Modern Quilt Guild will offer grants for teaching the basic skills of quilt making and/or garment construction. Proposals will be accepted annually.
