Mission
We empower people to become the effective influencers, public speakers, communicators, and networkers they aspire to be through the "Pathways" communication education program from Toastmasters. Level up your soft skills and transferable skills! We are a nonprofit educational organization.
Programs and Services
We provide "Hybrid Communication" meetings. This means our meetings are a combination of a traditional face-to-face meeting and a remote meeting held over the Zoom online platform simultaneously.
We generally meet in three different meeting rooms at the library. Each room/venue is set up differently and offers different audio-visual benefits for speaker training. The first room provides an auditorium atmosphere and a large projector and screen for laptop presentations. The second room offers a large meeting room with two 55-inch televisions for laptop presentations. The third room offers a smaller group meeting atmosphere without audio-visual.
Additional skill development: Networking skills, Soft skills, transferrable skills, listening skills, communication, public speaking, small talk, using presentation software, impromptu speaking, speaking off-the-cuff, leadership skills, social speeches, speech writing, story-telling, interview skills, evaluation, speeches designed to influence or persuade, decision-making, team-building, time-management, problem-solving, direct and indirect communication, ability to think on your feet, build a blog, poise and confidence in high-pressure situations, leading online meetings and much more. You must be 18 years or older.
