Tulsa City-County Library is pleased to offer a telehealth booth at Central Library, 400 Civic Center, which facilitates remote appointments between customers and physicians.
Telehealth at TCCL helps those unable to travel to a doctor or who don’t have the ability to conduct virtual appointments at home. The booth can be used for one hour of time and must be booked at least one day in advance. One-hour sessions are available Monday-Friday (excluding holidays) at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The ADA-compliant booth includes computer access with dual monitors and an adjustable table; soundproofing and frosted glass to ensure privacy; a variety of basic medical equipment upon request; and HEPA filtration and advanced sanitization practices to ensure a safe environment.
This project is made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the American Rescue Plan Act, administered by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries. However, the opinions expressed by a grant supported outside agent do not necessarily reflect the position or policy of ODL or IMLS, and no official endorsement by those entities should be inferred.
