July 24, 2024 - Tulsa City-County Library is seeking local vendors, businesses and organizations to be part of the second annual VERSES event on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 6 p.m. at Central Library, Fifth Street and Denver Avenue.
VERSES is an exciting community affair and fundraiser benefiting the Ruth G. Hardman Adult Literacy Service.The goal of VERSES is to educate attendees on the importance of adult literacy initiatives in Tulsa County while offering a unique way to explore local artists, businesses and community offerings.
The ticketed event will feature a variety of local vendors, live art-making, readings and spoken-word performances, food and beverage for purchase from area eateries, and a silent auction.
The library’s literacy department is accepting submissions for local vendors to sell wares at the market and for local businesses to auction off an item, service or experience.Those interested in participating should apply by Thursday, Aug. 15.
