Mission
You can attend the Oklahoma SBVI Tulsa Support Group Meeting at Nathan Hale Public Library, 6038 E. 23rd St. Tulsa, OK, Oklahoma.
This group is open to anyone who is visually impaired or blind, their friends, and their family. It focuses on life as a newly blind or low-vision person and allows members to discuss coping strategies and tips and to provide encouragement and support to each other.
We value your presence at this meeting. Please RSVP if you plan to attend, and do not hesitate to call or email me if you need directions. We are excited about this new support/education opportunity in our area and cannot wait to meet you!
Programs and Services
We provide opportunities for advocacy training, daily living skills, orientation and mobility skills, communication, and adaptive equipment training for anyone with low vision or blindness. The Older Blind Program is for anyone 55+ or older who needs services in their home or community. It is also for any high schoolers graduating from school who need accommodations for work or school.
