Libraries Rock with Music Sandwiched In

   Central Library is alive with the sound of music.

   Enjoy the sounds of local musicians during the Music Sandwiched In, noon-12:50 p.m., in Central Library’s Aaronson Auditorium, Fifth Street and Denver Avenue.

   Music Sandwiched In is a one of the highlighted programs in the summer reading program for children, teens and adults. The free annual program encourages all ages to keep the pages turning during the summer and is ongoing through Aug. 4. You can register for the summer reading program at any Tulsa City-County Library or online at www.TulsaLibrary.org/summer.

   June 11, Pianist Donald Ryan

Ryan is a dynamic pianist encompassing classical, religious/inspirational, pop, jazz and ragtime. He has traveled the world delighting audiences with his piano skills.

   June 25, The Stories Behind the Songs Featuring Jazz Historian/Pianist John Hamill

Hamill, jazz historian and pianist, will share stories about each song and then play it in his jazz-inflected, pop style.

   July 9, The Caldwell-Norberg Duo, Renowned cellist Kari Caldwell and pianist Anna

Norberg, founding members of Trio Tulsa, will entertain with a vast repertoire of classics.

   July 23, Storyteller Connie Cronley and Pianist Anna Norberg

Cronley will entertain with delightful stories from her life experiences as Norberg adds piano accompaniment to each story.
