New and improved Rudisill Regional Library set to reopen Oct. 2

You are invited to find your new favorite reading nook as Rudisill Regional Library, 1520 N. Hartford, reopens Oct. 2 with a new look and access to more resources.

Library customers will appreciate comfortable furniture and collaborative spaces to study or work together. A reconfigured computer lab along with more spacious areas to access reading materials will benefit learners of all ages. The updates are part of TCCL’s New Service Model ensuring libraries remain relevant for 21st-century readers.

New Service Model improvements to Rudisill Regional Library include:

·         Self-check machines, allowing customers to oversee their account as they check out and return borrowed items

·         News signage for improved way-finding

·         Reconfigured children’s area with more room for “Stay-n-Play” activities

·         Additional Wi-Fi bar with charging capability for customers using personal digital devices

·         Convenience Center for copying, scanning, faxing and wireless printing

“We are excited to offer library customers greater access to informational, educational and entertainment needs,” said Keith Jemison, Rudisill Regional Library manager. “Families will enjoy the much larger children’s area with increased open space and book bins sized so children can easily find their own books.”
