Central Library is alive with the sound of Music Sandwiched In

All ages are invited to enjoy “Music Sandwiched In: The Maestro and the Missus” in Central Library’s Aaronson Auditorium, Fourth Street and Denver Avenue, July 17, noon-12:45 p.m.

Lyric soprano Lawana Newell and baritone Douglas Newell, best known in performance circles as “The Maestro and the Missus,” are a gifted husband and wife duo whose blend of musicality proves that the whole can be much, much more than the sum of its parts.

“Music Sandwiched In” is a one of the highlighted programs in the summer reading program for children, teens and adults. The free annual program encourages all ages to keep the pages turning during the summer and is ongoing through Aug. 5. You can register for the summer reading program at any Tulsa City-County Library or online at www.TulsaLibrary.org/summer.
