The votes are in and Tulsan’s say their Tulsa City-County Library is the city’s Best Place to Learn Something New. The Tulsa Voice handed out the Library’s Best of Tulsa Award today. The local publication has been collecting votes and handing out the Best of Tulsa designations since 2015. Thousands of ballots and tens of thousands of individual votes are cast each year by local residents to decide which businesses and organizations take the top title.
“The Tulsa City-County Library is thrilled to be named Tulsa’s Best Place to Learn Something New,” said Kimberly Johnson, Tulsa City-County Library chief executive officer. “As a 21st century library system, we understand the importance of innovative education. Whether you’re learning to use one of our 3D printers or taking a modern day sewing class, our libraries are constantly evolving to offer relevant learning opportunities for all ages. If you want to learn something new, we can help!”
The Tulsa City-County Library lives up to its newly earned title with more than 100 programs offered throughout its system in April. Library customers can learn everything from quilting to laser engraving throughout the month, not to mention the vast collection of books, music, movies and more available to explore.
