Discuss all things Dylan during  book talk with Michael Chaiken

   From becoming a best-selling musician more than 50 years ago to earning a Nobel Prize in Literature, Bob Dylan is one of the most influential artists of all time.

   Join Michael Chaiken, curator of the Bob Dylan Archive, for a lively and thought-provoking discussion of Dylan’s memoir, “Chronicles.” Participants are encouraged to read the book prior to the event on July 24, 7 p.m. in Central Library’s Pocahontas Greadington Learning and Creativity Center, Fifth St. and Denver Ave.

   Chaiken will also talk about the future opening of the Bob Dylan Archive in downtown Tulsa. The archive is comprised of more than 6,000 items spanning nearly the entire length of his career. The collection includes essays, poems, liner notes, correspondence, autobiographical highlights of Dylan’s life.

   All ages still have time to complete TCCL’s summer reading program which runs through Aug. 4. By reading or listening to four books, adults can earn free food and entertainment coupons from local sponsors.
