As Tulsa City-County Library continues the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, families are invited to experience singing and dancing during “Uno, Dos, Tres con Andres.”

   Andres Salguero will present an interactive children’s program, for ages 6 and younger, that teaches Spanish language and Latin American culture.  Children sing, shake and sound out rhythms while trying regional Latin dances and practicing Spanish words.  His visit is sponsored by the Tulsa Library Trust and the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust.

   Andres has his musical roots in jazz, salsa, rock and ska.  In 2000 he was the recipient of the National Composition Contest in Colombia with his song “Relampagos y Flores.”
