Free Streaming Movies With Your Tulsa City-County Library Card

Tulsa City-County Library helps job seekers, educators, researchers, students, families lifelong learners and now, movie buffs.
From classics like “High Noon,” “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and “Sands of Iwo Jima” to current documentaries like “We Live in Public,” the library is your ticket to free movies and TV shows.
With dozens of genres like Comedy, Crime, Suspense, Concerts, Children’s and TV Shows, library customers can find thousands of titles for all movie preferences.  New movies, documentaries and TV shows are added regularly to keep the selection fresh.
Any Tulsa City-County Library cardholder can select up to three movies or TV shows per week through Freegal Movies.  The streaming service is browser or app based like popular services you may be familiar with.  A Freegal App is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play for streaming on your phone or other portable device.  Viewing on a PC or Mac will not require downloading additional software.  Each selection is available to watch as many times as you like for 48 hours and will then check itself back in.
“Movies are a popular service of the Tulsa City-County Library.  With the popularity of mobile devices, offering streaming movies was the next step in providing beneficial services to library customers,” said Sue Anderson, TCCL Collection Management Manager.  “We anticipate Freegal Movies will be a hit with all ages.  Streaming is easy, and best of all, it’s free for library cardholders.”
Each TCCL location will have instructions for setting up your own Freegal Movie identification and password using your library card.  Or you can access instructions at http://guides.tulsalibrary.org/movies.
