Block by block, colorful creations took shape as children and teens used their imaginations to build winning creations in Tulsa City-County Library’s “Great Lego Build-Off Competition.”
Throughout Tulsa City-County Library’s summer reading program, children and teens have participated in preliminary Lego Build-Off competitions at various Tulsa City-County Library locations.
The top three winners from each location will compete in the “Great Lego Build-Off” finals on July 24 at Librarium, 11th St. and Denver Avenue.
- Children’s finals: 10 a.m.
- Teen finals: 2:30 p.m.
Each group will have a set time to complete their final creations for judging. Winners in each age division will receive a certificate and trophies made out of Legos.
The Great Lego Build-Off Competition is sponsored by the Hardesty Family Foundation. The event is part of Tulsa City-County Library’s children’s and teen summer reading programs. Each age group has until Aug. 17 to complete the summer reading program to receive free food and entertainment around Tulsa County.
