Improved Skiatook Library to reopen Nov. 16

You are invited to find your new favorite reading nook as Skiatook Library, 316 E. Rogers, reopens Nov. 16 with a new look and greater access to informational and educational resources.

The Skiatook Library is improving to meet the needs of modern library customers. The circulation desk was removed to make room for additional self-check machines. Customers can check in or out materials, pay fines, view account information, renew items and get receipts for any of these services. This allows library staff more time to help customers find information they need.

Another great feature is the addition of a Business Center, where customers can quickly copy, scan, print or fax. With wireless printing, customers can send their files and print them out at the library. We also have laptops available for checkout while in the library.

Your community library is so much more than a quiet place to study. Our children’s storytimes are full of music, singing and dancing. Teens meet to research and dream of the next great invention. Adults browse for the latest bestseller, use resources to find a job or learn a new language. Libraries are alive more than ever with programs and activities beyond the printed page.

We look forward to seeing you at a storytime, book review or just a visit to see the improved library.
