June 10, 2024 -- Meet Ja’Dayia Kursh, Arkansas’ first black rodeo queen, during two special library appearances on June 12. She will talk about her new children’s book “Cowgirl J and The Magical Lasso,” share inspirational stories, rope tricks and rodeo tips.

Ja’Dayia’s visit is part of Tulsa City-County Library’s 2024 summer reading program. Continuing through July 31, families will enjoy entertaining and educational stories at their favorite libraries.
All four age groups - littles, children, teens/tweens and adults - can read their way to incentive prizes.
