The votes are in and Tulsan’s say their Central Library is the city’s Best Place to Learn Something New. The Tulsa Voice handed out the Library’s Best of Tulsa Award today. The local publication has been collecting votes and handing out the Best of Tulsa designations since 2015. Thousands of ballots and tens of thousands of individual votes are cast each year by local residents to decide which businesses and organizations take the top title.

“It is an honor to be named Tulsa’s Best Place to Learn Something New,” said Buddy Ingalls, Central Library manager. “Whether you’re learning to use one of our 3D printers, taking a video editing class or recording in the audio lab, our libraries are constantly evolving to offer relevant learning opportunities for all ages. If you want to learn something new, visit your library!”

TCCL lives up to the title with more than 100 programs offered throughout its system in April. Library customers can learn everything from quilting to laser engraving throughout the month, not to mention the vast collection of books, music, movies and more available to explore.
