Throughout March, TCCL celebrates “Teen Tech Month” by showcasing the newest digital resources and services available to help teens succeed.

  From bringing designs to life on a 3D printer to assembling and operating tech bots, libraries are spaces for teens to have fun and learn more about their digital world.

Drawing Circuits With Circuit Scribe Thursday, March 7 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Brookside Library, 1207 E. 45th Place. Create electrical circuits using only a pen! Make lights flash, buzzers buzz and learn how the colors of light mix by drawing your own circuits between different modules.

Code Your Own Story – Create Your Own Simple RPG Saturday, March 9 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Central Library, Fifth Street and Denver Avenue. If you love playing video games, come and learn how to create them. Join us for an intro on creating your own RPG using Twine, an interactive storytelling app. Register online at www.tulsalibrary.org/events or call 918-549-7323

Paper Roller Coasters Saturday, March 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Bixby Library, 20 E. Breckenridge. Have fun with engineering and physics as you or a team create and test your own paper roller coaster! Registration is required. Register online at www.tulsalibrary.org/events or call 918-549-7323.

Teen Lounge: Build a Robot! Thursday, March 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Judy Z. Kishner Library, 10150 N. Cincinnati Ave. E, Sperry. Using JIMU Robot kits, you can build a Buzzbot or a Muttbot robot. We will provide iPads to program your robot to walk, dance, play and more using Blocky coding. For ages 5-18. 

Technology Take Apart Tuesday, March 19, 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Broken Arrow Library, 300 W. Broadway. Learn to take apart electronics and see how they work. Paper Circuits Wednesday, March 20 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Schusterman-Benson Library, 3333 E. 32nd Place. Learn how to use conductive tape, coin-cell batteries and LEDs to create a circuit, and then bring your artwork to life with light! Supplies are limited. Glitch Out! Tuesday, March 26 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Skiatook Library, 316 E. Rogers. Hang out and play Xbox and Nintendo Switch, or build with our LEGO Robotics gadgets. We will tech out together and have lots of fun!

Survival Skills: Who Are You? Friday, March 29 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at South Broken Arrow Library, 3600 S. Chestnut. We are living in an age of social media, but how will what you post now effect you in the future? Get expert advice from a social-media marketer on how to make your profiles more interesting and learn how your digital footprint can either help or haunt you.
