From Pages to Prizes: Writing Resources for Contest Success

Each winter, TCCL encourages local and aspiring authors to sharpen and share their skills through the Young People’s Creative Writing Contest, for ages 8-18, and the Adult Creative Writing Contest, for ages 18 and older. Whether you are a longtime or first-time author, TCCL has writing resources to help you put your best words forward and create a winning entry. Follow these three steps to participate in either contest!

2022 Spooky Story Contest!

Aspiring writers ages 8-18 are invited to connect their love of writing with a passion for scary storytelling in the Spooky Story Contest! From Oct. 1-31, students can submit a short story to any TCCL location. The top 10 winners in each of the three age categories (8-11, 12-14 and 15-18) will have their stories published on TCCL's website, as well as in a physical anthology.
