Earn a high school diploma for free through the library

   Aug. 11, 2022    Tulsa City-County Library (TCCL) partnered with the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL) and Gale/Cengage Learning to offer five Tulsa County residents the opportunity to earn their high school diploma for free through Excel High School.  

Jeanne B. Goodwin Storytelling Festival brings imagination to life at the library

The annual Jeanne B. Goodwin Storytelling Festival celebrates the rich tradition of sharing wisdom through words and activities. All ages can enjoy storytelling, a book creation station, DIY rhythm sticks, and more at the celebration on July 12, 2-3:30 p.m., at Rudisill Regional Library, 1520 N. Hartford.

Celebrate Family History Month with the Genealogy Center

   June 14, 2022    Discover and share your family’s heritage with a series of free programs from Tulsa City-County Library’s (TCCL) Genealogy Center. May 25, 2022    “Oceans of Possibilities,” Tulsa City-County Library’s 2022 summer reading program for all ages, is the perfect summer getaway. The free annual program, ongoing June 1-July 31, is filled with free performances and chances to earn great prizes.

Tulsa City-County Library reopens specialized exhibit to commemorate the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre

May 18, 2022    Tulsa City-County Library (TCCL) is reopening its exhibit “TCCL Remembers – Commemorating Tulsa’s Race Massacre With Education, Empathy and Healing” at Rudisill Regional Library, 1520 N. Hartford, from May 24-June 6. This walk-through exhibit is free for customers of all ages to view during library hours.

April 20, 2022 Enrich your lunch break with the talented stylings of local musicians during Music Sandwiched In, noon-12:50 p.m., in Central Library’s Aaronson Auditorium. Stories come alive through music every other Monday in June and July, starting June 13.

Tulsa Library’s Build A Reader App can help your child develop early literacy skills anytime, anywhere

   Feb. 16, 2022       For many young children, distance and virtual learning led to a decline in early literacy skills. The Build A Reader app from Tulsa City-County Library (TCCL) is a free tool that can help develop early literacy skills in children from birth-preK to grow and sustain a love of reading.
