One-of-a-kind Midcentury Modern Sculpture Donated to Tulsa City-County Library

   Stuart Price, local developer and owner of Price Family Properties, announced today that he will be donating a sculpture by Harry Bertoia that has graced downtown for over half a century to the Tulsa City-County Library.    The piece, once an operating fountain, will be put in the custody and care of the Tulsa City-County Library in order to make way for a recently announced parking structure in downtown. Talks regarding the donation have been going on for months. “We are very excited to be able to make this announcement today,” said Price.

Tulsa City-County Library Selected as Tulsa’s Best Place to Learn Something New

  The votes are in and Tulsan’s say their Tulsa City-County Library is the city’s Best Place to Learn Something New. The Tulsa Voice handed out the Library’s Best of Tulsa Award today. The local publication has been collecting votes and handing out the Best of Tulsa designations since 2015. Thousands of ballots and tens of thousands of individual votes are cast each year by local residents to decide which businesses and organizations take the top title.
